Jenny in Belize!
Delta Omega's very own Jenny Whisenhunt went with her professors as a 'research abroad student' and worked with the Mayan Research Program to help document the Mayan ruins they excavated. Using 3D scanning and 3D modeling, they were able to aid in the process of documentation, preservation, and education of the ruins at Blue Creek, Belize and Lamanai, Belize.

Delta Omega Makes Greek Life News!
The following article was featured in Texas A&M's Greek Life News!
Kappa Alpha Theta Successful at Convention
Kappa Alpha Thetas from every chapter including Delta Omega of Texas A&M traveled from around the United States and Canada to be a part of the Fraternity’s National Grand Convention, held at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa, June 23-28.
In its entirety, the Grand Convention raised $3,500 for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), donated to the Pansy Patch, and participated in a book drive over the course of their time in Arizona. Days consisted of good conversation, networking, educational programming, and a few very special events, including the memorial service for those Thetas who had passed since the last Grand Convention and also the college chapter awards celebration.
Delta Omega was Runner-Up for the Clementine Allen Facility Director Award, awarding house mother, Joella Stewart, for her love and service to our chapter. The chapter was also named a Golden Kite chapter, awarded to just 18 chapters out of the 125+ national and international chapters.
Congratulations girls!
